With July 1 of the new year having come and gone, it is that time of year when Georgia’s new laws start taking effect.
Along with updates to banned contraband in Georgia jails/prisons (which now includes the prohibition of all tobacco products) [see Senate Bill 149] as well as new regulations for municipal probation officers [see Senate Bill 149], Georgia’s new laws run the gambit.
